Report Problems - No Pavement

If you have concerns about the streets in your area, here’s what you can do:

  • Complain about a pavement problem on the Direct Gov website
  • If your path to work has been gated (closed off) by the council, do something about it by contacting the 'Unlocking Neighbourhood Paths' campaign
  • Report the problem to your local council – find details on their website, then phone, write or email them about your issue
  • Fix My Street will chase your council for you – simply enter your postcode and tell them all about the problem. They'll send it to the council for you, and will keep in touch till you get a response
  • Get your local councillor on side. He/she is elected by your local community and is there to represent its views. Find your local councillor here
  • Join your Living Streets' local group and if there isn't one - set one up yourself! Our local groups are a network of campaigners working in their own communities to create living streets.
