We are actively involved in many projects and campaigns, sometimes in partnership with other organisations. You can find more details on separate websites that have been set up specifically for them. Living StreetsLiving Streets runs the Walking Works campaign. We are the national UK charity that works to bring our streets to life, with more walking in people-friendly public spaces. On our website you can find out how to get involved with our local groups, get more information about our projects such as Fitter for Walking and discover how our consultancy services can help to improve your local street environment. Living Streets' Walk to School CampaignLiving Streets’ believes walking should be the natural choice for the journey to school. Walking is good for children’s health, and more people walking will help to create livelier communities too: less traffic congestion, less pollution and lots of people out on their streets who know their neighbours and their neighbourhoods. Walk EnglandWalk England was established as a social enterprise to work in partnerships across the country to create local opportunities for people to choose to walk, to walk more often, to walk to more places, and to feel safe while doing so. Walk England brings together people who want to walk more with the health, transport and environmental professionals responsible for supporting their choice. Travel ActivelyA consortium of the leading walking, cycling and health organisations have come together as the Active Travel Consortium to get two million people more active by 2012, through 50 England-wide practical projects.
