Living Streets auditsHow 'walkable' is the area around your workplace? Maybe a pedestrian crossing would make it quicker and safer to cross to the local shops? Or a wider pavement and better street lighting would make walking home from work in the winter a more appealing prospect? Living Streets' 'walkability audits' identify the things that are stopping people walking easily and safely in your area. And we come up with solutions to help you deal with them. We work with your staff and site managers, and the local community, using our expertise to help you improve the streets around your workplace. We can also help you encourage more walking – such as providing route maps for lunch time walks and information on local areas of interest. TrainingWe run training courses so you can carry out your own 'walkability' audit. We also train employees to become 'Walking Champions' – a point of contact for any staff interested in walking, Walking Champions also arrange walks, give out information and offer support to colleagues. Walk DoctorLiving Streets Walk Doctor roadshows bring tailored advice and encouragement to get your workplace walking. As well as helping you promote walking to your employees, we can give them personal 'prescriptions' to help increase the amount of walking they can fit into their daily routine. Healthier, happier staff are just a step away!
